lyrics

Tonight, there’s a ghost in my skin.
So how could I let you in?
Maybe someday we’ll walk with the devil, my little love,
Spare me today, and send me away to the sky above.

Let the radio play
“The glory and the brave”
Come and shine, bring me your light when I’m down.
I live in dreams and fake melodies when I’m on my own

It’s time to become and last,
But where are you now?
When I need you so bad.

You are the most beautiful lie,
But you’re all I have for now.
So dance in your white dress, you’re filled with a sadness you’ll never know.
I live in dreams and sweet melodies when I’m all alone.

Will you come,
And make my heart a better place?
Do you believe there is hope in our parade?

Remember the day when we walked with the devil, my little love,
spare me today, and send me away to the skies above.

Will we sail, will we sail,
To the islands in your songs?
May we say, may we say,
that we’ll be back when the morning comes?
Will we sail, will we sail,
‘till our memories fade out?
And you say, and you say,
‘Take me down where the water calls.’
