On my way 03:00
Hey now, my bags are packed I'm on my way I can't wait for tomorrow And the night embraces me with thousands of dreams Nothing old will follow Now I take the road, full of pictures and songs Ready to land in a place I belong Nothing will shatter my wish for a home At last, the morning light is on its way And we're back in the game I feel surrounded by the love you share Memories will remain I can see mountains all over the place I'd stay forever if I take the chance To dream of a garden without a cage We'll make tomorrow A better tomorrow We'll always remember the fallen ones We'll stand together against lies and pain And we'll raise our voices until everything changes Now I feel the wind that's turning. Hey now, we'll always work for better days, Now is just a start, Call me, call everyone who's trying to help, and join us in the fight, You can discover all stories untold You can make a difference by sharing your own And give us a chance to grow old

Darkness and pain The stench of blood Her babies' call in vain Left to rot in the mud Fear lights in her eyes as they take him away Gut wrenching helpless cry, staring in dismay She's nothing but a cow and he's only a calf For the love of cheese killed on your behalf Yet she feels, and she breathes She has needs and a reason to live She's not ours to use and abuse Time to wake up, put ourselves in her shoes Blinded by rage Bored loneliness Stolen life in a cage Mind broken, hopelessness Flash lights, applause; another night, another dance Whip cracks, deafening screams; conditioned performance Noble lion, raw power for humans to tame On a pathetic show, and guess who’s to blame? Yet he feels, and he breathes He has needs and a reason to live He's not ours to use and abuse Time to wake up, put ourselves in his shoes Warm tears, charred skin Trembling and helpless Sheer terror, hearts racing Surrounded by sickness Hidden from the world, paralyzed by fear they wait A life of suffering, one more test to seal their fate No love, no family for these unlucky bunnies Sacrificed for science and your brand new lippies Yet they feel, and they breathe They have needs and a reason to live They’re not ours to use and abuse Time to wake, put ourselves in their shoes You keep saying you hate cruelty And you’d be the first to save a puppy Then why treat them differently? So shut up and get up Revolution has begun Together we stand up We can build a new world

Well I find myself in a mess, sir, down in the badlands, When I close my eyes to the ground, I can hear a song I can listen to the voices of dead men saying to me: “kid, be a man, let it go” And I know, yeah I know, I‟m long gone... As I‟m lying tonight in the heartland, I can feel the wind blowing, All my dreams are sailing away, far away from me I‟m the ghost of my old memories, I am the fool whose friends fade away And I‟m alone, yeah I‟m lonely, away from home… . So raise your hand, before your world grows, And show me your pain, show me your light, but don’t let it go, Don’t let it go. There‟s a world outside waiting for you, my only loved one, And I‟ll keep on playing your songs, „til the break of dawn. But I fear that all‟s gonna change now, Just one last kiss, and no going back. „ Cause tomorrow, I‟ll see you again, on the other side So raise your hand, before your world grows, And show me your pain, show me your light, but don’t let it go, Raise your hand, before your heart grows, for once in this life, take me away to a place I’ll never know. No sorrow tonight, just turn off the lights. Though my time has come to an end, I‟ll keep you around. But don‟t let it go

I try and I try to remember The days when I walked in the sun But my days are counted and I wonder Have I ever really known where I'm from? And here I am locked between these walls Look at my face, I try to cary on Make me believe in a place where I belong But can you tell me, Will you miss me when I'm gone? My child, my child can you hear me? Tell me why they took you away? Now I'm weak and lost without you baby And my screams and tears are vain I'm alone, walking with the dead Yet I can't stop calling you again But when they'll come to take me today Will you remember? Don't let me down, don't let me down Before I leave my bones to the ground Everything's fading away now, here they come Will you remember me when I'm gone?

I’ve paced up and down in prison, stuck behind high walls Pressed up against the fence, their faces seem enthralled Hoping for a reaction, they’ll scream and they’ll call To get them off my back I’ll throw a half-hearted howl I’m a lifer, that’s what they call me Taken from a den, and my family Thrown into a cage, for all eternity And when comes the night I dream of freedom Your howl in the distance vibrates in my soul A wild song in the dark gets my mind wandering To mountains and forests and rivers never seen But barbwires and fences they keep me from leaving And I could never run to you no matter how I wanted to I’m a lifer, that’s what they call me Taken from a den, and my family Thrown into a cage, for all eternity Tell me why humans yearn to tame wilderness If they try and break me, fangs will rip through their flesh I’m like a rabid dog, enraged and [anxious/brakeless] This life [behind bars/in a cage] has made me restless Time's running out, execution’s set for me “That beast’s too dangerous”, as came their plea But is there only death that can set me free? And when comes the night I dream of freedom Your howl in the distance vibrates in my soul A wild song in the dark gets my mind wandering To mountains and forests and rivers never seen Their barbwires and fences won’t keep me from leaving And I will run to you if it’s the laaaast thing I doooo I’m a lifer, that’s what they call me Taken from a den, and my family Thrown into a cage, for all eternity The fury in my veins makes me numb to the pain Of climbing and digging to break free from their chains Running wild to my fate, their screams echo in vain Will you wait for me till I come home again? If their bullets get me at least now I’ll die free But the streams and the wind they help hiding my scent And my instinct is a guide that makes me hell-bent I’m a lifer, that’s what they call me Taken from a den, and my family Thrown into a cage, for all eternity I know hope and your song will lead me back to you To the place I belong, where all of our dreams come true Eyes locking, hearts racing, souls melding in the rain Heal my wounds, and show me, how to be whole again And in the twilight I taste our freedom Your howl in the dark vibrates in my soul Our wild songs entwined get my heart wandering To mountains and forests and rivers never seen No more wires or fences to keep me from roaming
